Pricing

Prices are quoted in US Dollars. All prices are subject to change without notice. Pricing, photographic and typographical errors are subject to correction. All prices are FOB shipping point.

Payment

C.P. Tools accepts business checks, money orders, and cashier’s checks. Payment on a regular open account invoice is due within 30 days upon date of shipment. All terms and conditions are subject to acceptance by C.P. Tools.

Shipping

Distributors and End-users are responsible for delivery and set-up. Our responsibility for freight damage ceases at time of shipment. All freight damage must be noted on the B/L. Any order that has visible damage can be refused. Photographs of damaged merchandise much be attached to documents for claim approval.

Return

Returns that are not the result of C.P. Tools error may be subject to a 15% restocking charge. The customer is responsible for returning all merchandise to C.P. Tools. All inventory and packaging must be in original and sellable condition. Any alterations to original packaging may result in additional charges above the 15% restocking charge.  Examples may include items returned in a box other than the original packaging making it impossible to sell as new merchandise. Unused C.P. Tools items may be returned for credit within 30 days of ordering. Before returning any item, a customer must obtain a Return Authorization (RA) Number by phone. If a return is necessary due to an error on the part of C.P. Tools, we will make arrangements for the return at C.P. Tools' expense. All returns are FOB Destination Freight Pre-Paid unless other terms and conditions have been arranged.

Warranty

C.P. Tools provides a one-year warranty under normal working conditions from the date of shipment to the first user. Normal working parts such as belts, bearings, and brake shoes are covered for 30 days. Electrical components and labor are covered for 90 days after installation by the first user. At C.P. Tools’ option, we will repair or replace any defective product upon return. Any unauthorized tampering, misuse or neglect of the machine may make this warranty null and void. Once merchandise is delivered to a customer’s facility and the customer has signed for delivery, the customer is responsible for any adjustments or changes to the merchandise. C.P. Tools may require customers from locations farther than the Los Angeles area to have the machines serviced by locally approved shops and be reimbursed for expenses. Customers assume responsibility for damage to the merchandise after the item has been delivered and signed for at the recipient’s facility.  For example, a warranty will be voided if a customer uses an unauthorized phase converter on the merchandise. Under no circumstances will C.P. Tools be responsible for any loss or any direct or consequential damage. At our option, C.P. Tools will repair or replace any defective product upon return, freight prepaid, to our location in El Monte, CA. If merchandise arrives damaged, a customer can either refuse the item or attach relevant documenting evidence to the shipping document. C.P. Tools may file a claim to the trucking company to be recompensated. Unauthorized repairing, tampering, misuse or neglect of any C.P. Tools product subjects this warranty to be null and void.

Special Orders

Non-stocking inventory are classified as special orders. Custom original items changed from original manufacturer designs are subject to a cancellation fee of 15% as well as all inbound and outbound freight charges associated with the order. Special orders require a 25% deposit. All special order materials such as tooling, control packages, and machine tool accessories to improve the performance of the machine not supplied though normal stocking inventory of C.P. Tools are subject to the Original Equipment Manufacturers. Conditions of cancellation and restocking fees are assigned to the distributor to be satisfied.
